UEAT would like to welcome a bilingual Senior Technical Writer to come and play a key role in the growth of UEAT.

RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS

  • Design and maintain documentation and online help in French and English for UEAT’s application portfolio
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of error labels and system messages in French and English application user interfaces
  • Manage the planning and delivery of documentation projects for the UEAT application/ software portfolio
  • Write multiple documents simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
  • Regularly and effectively create the necessary channels of communication with your colleagues to be effective in your work
  • Define and implement the best documentation practices and the tools required to achieve them

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in a technical writing position within a company or a technology department
  • Completed studies in technical communication, translation, French, English, journalism, or another relevant field
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Excellent written communication skills in both French and English
  • Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
  • Demonstrate proficiency in grammar, syntax, and spelling, and be able to pass these skills on to your colleagues
  • Mastery of MS Office software and document management software
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of the restaurant industry (an asset)
