UEAT would like to welcome a bilingual Senior Technical Writer to come and play a key role in the growth of UEAT.
RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS
- Design and maintain documentation and online help in French and English for UEAT’s application portfolio
- Ensure the quality and consistency of error labels and system messages in French and English application user interfaces
- Manage the planning and delivery of documentation projects for the UEAT application/ software portfolio
- Write multiple documents simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Regularly and effectively create the necessary channels of communication with your colleagues to be effective in your work
- Define and implement the best documentation practices and the tools required to achieve them
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 6 years of proven experience in a technical writing position within a company or a technology department
- Completed studies in technical communication, translation, French, English, journalism, or another relevant field
- Fluency in English and French
- Excellent written communication skills in both French and English
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
- Demonstrate proficiency in grammar, syntax, and spelling, and be able to pass these skills on to your colleagues
- Mastery of MS Office software and document management software
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of the restaurant industry (an asset)
